Pep Guardiola has been talking about Lamine Yamal again and admits Barcelona are “very lucky” to have found another genius.
The Catalans have had to cope without Lionel Messi since his shock departure in 2021 but now have another superstar on their hands with Yamal.
Guardiola refused to compare the two players but did speak about what sets Yamal apart.
“His way of understanding the game is truly surprising for his age. We’re very lucky, Barça, aren’t we? To have found another boy with this kind of perspective,” he told DAZN.
“I’m not going to say he’s like Leo, I’m sorry, because for me, there will never be anyone in the world like the Argentine.
