Oscar Mingueza has admitted he thought about leaving the Camp Nou when he was struggling for minutes at Barcelona B.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed a superb season with the first team after being called up by Ronald Koeman due to injury problems in defense.
Mingueza has gone on to make 28 appearances in all competitions and scored his first goal last time out against Huesca in a 4-1 win.
The center-back has spoken about his time at the club and comparisons with Carles Puyol who came close to a move to Malaga in 1998 but decided to stick it out at Barca instead.
