The college soccer season is entering it’s final week with the men’s College Cup taking place this coming weekend in Santa Barbara, California. For the players that have graduated from the Sporting Kansas City academy, their seasons are over. This past weekend, Ryan Krutz and Notre Dame lost to Indiana 1-0 while Kentucky, where Colin Innes is red shirting this season, lost 1-0 to Maryland to end both their seasons.
The year was still fairly successful for the Sporting academy players, with red shirt senior, Joey Piatczyc and sophomore Leroy Enzugusi leading the academy graduates in goals with eight each.
