OFFICIAL: Barcelona's Neymar named in Brazil squad for October World Cup Qualifiers

The best Brazilian player on Earth will represent his country again.

Barcelona superstar Neymar Jr. has been called up by national team coach Tite to represent Brazil in the South American World Cup Qualifying matches against Bolivia (Oct. 6) and Venezuela (Oct. 11) next month. After two fantastic performances under the new manager, Neymar hopes to build on his Seleção form to keep Brazil as one of the four teams that will qualify to play in Russia.

The other Brazilian Blaugrana, Rafinha Alcântara, has not been named in the squad. Three other La Liga stars (Filipe Luís, Marcelo, Casemiro) have also been called.
