Nico Williams has reportedly told Athletic Club he wants to leave Barcelona this summer as he inches closer to the exit door.
Barcelona are said to have agreed personal terms with Williams already on a six-year contract in Catalunya and a transfer is looking increasingly likely.
It’s now been reported in Spain by El Chiringuito that the forward has told Athletic of his plan to move on and join Barcelona.
Athletic will now apparently demand Barcelona pay his release clause in one lump sum, according to journalist Edu Velasco.
He said: “Athletic are already aware of Nico Williams’ decision to play for Barça next season.
