Barcelona goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was spotted in tears after Sunday’s dramatic Clasico win over Real Madrid at Montjuic.
The Poland star played the whole game and could not hold back the tears after the win that saw Barcelona move to the brink of the title.
Szczesny spoke after the game and explained why he was so emotional.
“I always try to control my emotions and not show them, whether positive or negative. But after the final whistle, it was very difficult for me,” he told Canal+.
“My eyes filled with tears.
