According to Simon Jones of the Daily Mail, Elneny will undergo a medical in Paris on Tuesday before completing his £7.4 million move to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
The north Londoners must still wait for visa clearance to sign the Basel anchor before the deal can become official, but it appears as though the transfer is close to completion.
Should Elneny's acquisition go through as expected, he'll become the first senior outfield player to sign for the club since Gabriel Paulista was purchased from Villarreal in the last January transfer window.
