Mexico start U-17 CONCACAF Championship with lackluster win.

Mexico got a win in their debut of the U17 CONCACAF Championship against Jamaica, who is probably their toughest competition in the Group stage. While Mexico was the better team and showed it, they will probably not be too happy with their performance and the fact that all their domination didn’t translate too many dangerous opportunities, with a lot of mistakes in the final third. Yet Mexico was able to get past wet conditions and very rough physical play from Jamaica. Mexico will now face what most people think it’s their least talented rival in the Group stages, Bermuda, on Friday while Jamaica will play Trinidad and Tobago the same day.
