Mexico score five over Bermuda in CONCACAF Nations League debut

Jose Juan Macias scored twice as Mexico secured an easy 5-1 win against Bermuda on Friday.

It was a surprisingly quiet affair until the 25th minute mark when the visitors opened scoring through Uriel Antuna. Hirving “Chucky” Lozano produced a fantastic through ball for Antuna, who weaved his way past the goalkeeper and put the ball into the back of the net.

El Tri doubled their lead at the stroke of halftime when Cristian Calderon picked out Jose Juan Macias inside the box and the the 20-year-old León forward scored with an impressive volley.

Macias got his second shortly after the break after collecting a rebound inside the box and firing in for Mexico’s third goal of the night.
