Mexico on point as they defeat Panama to qualify to Nations League Final

Mexico got their first victory in a CONCACAF Nations League semifinal after defeating Panama by a 3-0 score. Mexico were the better team, but it wasn’t easy as Panama had their moments and came into the match with a great string of results. Mexico will now face off against the United States in the Nations League final on Sunday while Panama will play the third place match against Jamaica.

The match started with the surprise that Henry Martin and Julian Quiñones were in the starting 11 while Santiago Giménez and Hirving Lozano were on the bench. A couple of crosses from Mexico were dangerous, but no players could get to the ball.
