Mexico announce two U-23 friendlies against Argentina.

Mexico have announced a series of two U-23 friendlies to be played in Mexico against Argentina. They will first face off on March 22 in Estadio El Encanto in Mazatlán followed by a March 25 meeting in Estadio Cuauhtémoc, Puebla. Argentina, managed by Javier Mascherano, will use the friendlies as preparation after just qualifying to the 2024 Olympic Games in February after defeating Brazil. Mexico, managed by Ricardo Cadena, will not take part in the Olympic games after losing qualification in the 2022 U-20 CONCACAF Championship.

This series has a lot of similarities with a tour in 2019 when Argentina also traveled twice to Mexico and played two friendlies.
