Mexico have announced they will play a friendly against Argentina on September 9th in San Antonio. It will be the final game of the five contractually obligated with SUM (Soccer United Marketing) to be played in the United States in 2019. Mexico played against Chile and Paraguay in March and with Venezuela and Ecuador in June in preparation for the Gold Cup. Argentina will play against Chile in Los Angeles on September 5th just prior to facing Mexico.
Mexico and Argentina played each other twice late last 2018 in Argentina.
