Mexican side Dorados de Sinaloa set to appoint Diego Maradona as manager — Report

Mexican second division side Dorados de Sinaloa is close to announcing Diego Armando Maradona as their new manager, according to reports from ESPN Deportes and TyC Sports.

Only “small details” separate Maradona from officially joining the Ascenso MX side, among them is figuring out how to get him out of his contract as chairman of Belorussian club Dinamo Brest. Maradona signed with Dinamo Brest back in May.

Currently, Dorados de Sinaloa are 13th in the Ascenso MX table with just three points.

Maradona previously coached Textil Mandiyú, Racing Club, Al Wasl, and the Argentina National Team, all with very little success.
