Martial magic provides small light in the darkness for France

After a beautiful display in Friday's friendly, Anthony Martial will do his best Tuesday to help France turn the page from the weekend terrorist attacks, writes Kris Voakes.

After three days of mourning impeccably observed, France goes back to work Tuesday and so do its soccer players. All 23 of France's squad members were given the choice by coach Didier Deschamps whether to go ahead with the match against England at Wembley. The unanimous decision was to play on. That is their way to commemorate their dead. Terror will not win.

A match originally arranged as preparation for Euro 2016 will instead become a showcase of sporting solidarity at its strongest and most poignant.
