Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has given Barcelona hope they might be able to land rumoured transfer target Matthijs de Ligt next summer.
Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for the 19-year-old defender in recent days, but Overmars says there is no chance at all he will leave in the winter transfer market.
“The percentage that De Ligt leaves Ajax in January is zero per cent,” he said.
However, he was then asked if De Ligt could be sold next summer and answered: “Yes, I confirm it is a possibility.
