Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has reportedly emerged as a doubt for Saturday’s clash with Rayo Vallecano.
Ter Stegen pulled out of international duty with a back injury, but it had been reported he would be fit for the weekend.
Mundo Deportivo are now saying that Ter Stegen did not train on Tuesday and could sit out Barcelona’s next game.
Barca don’t want to run any risks with their goalkeeper but will wait until Thursday to make a final decision on his involvement.
It would still be something of a surprise if Ter Stegen didn’t play, but if he is sidelined for the game then Inaki Pena will have a rare chance to impress in the first team.
