The future of Marc-André ter Stegen will certainly be a hot topic over the summer as Barcelona have clearly made the decision to move on from the German goalkeeper with the signing of Espanyol’s Joan Garcia earlier this month.
Ter Stegen has two years left on his deal and is currently not interested in leaving the club, but an exit might be the best option if he wants a regular starting spot in a World Cup year. Barça are even willing to agree a contract termination, but as it stands their desire is to sell and earn at least some profit on the player to boost their salary cap situation.
