Two FC Barcelona players have been called up for Germany’s Euro 2024 squad. Marc-André ter Stegen and u0130lkay Gündou011fan, two veterans for club and country, will be part of the team that tries to capture continental glory.
Ter Stegen is expected to be Manuel Neuer’s backup in goal. Neuer has been Germany’s #1 while healthy for a long time now, and that is not likely to change.
Meanwhile, Gündou011fan could be a starter in midfield, as he was in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He had a strong season at Barcelona, and he would expect to at least play a role in the middle of the park.
