Robin van Persie's days as a member of Manchester United appear to be over, as the veteran striker has reportedly agreed to a deal with Turkish club Fenerbahce, who will now try to work out a transfer with the Mancunians.
Emre Sarigul and Jamie Jackson of the Guardian report the Dutchman's agent has been working on the move for days, and an official announcement only seems a matter of time:
It is understood that Van Persie’s agent, Kees Vos, has been in Istanbul for the past two days, involved in negotiations with the Turkish club to secure a deal.
