Manchester United have agreed on a deal with Spanish goalkeeper Victor Valdes and the 33-year-old will leave the club for free this month.
The former Barcelona keeper was signed as a backup to David De Gea, but the World Cup winner soon fell out with manager Louis Van Gaal and has been banished from the first team ever since.
Apparently the Spaniard refused to train with the U21s to improve his fitness and was then alienated from the rest of the first team on match days as well as training sessions.
Valdes is keen to end his Old Trafford nightmare and was close to leaving the club during the summer.
