Jose Mourinho got what he wanted. The Portuguese wanted four signings from Ed Woodward and the United executive vice-chairman granted his wish in a grand way.
Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan represents two smart pieces of business while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba, two world class players, made headlines with their moves. The Swede star arrived on free while United broke the bank to secure a world record transfer for Pogba.
With these signings, Manchester United have probably closed the door for any more addition this summer, but out-going transfers may take place.
