Manchester City’s 10 year plan for Lionel Messi could include a move to New York - report

Lionel Messi could join Manchester City on a free transfer next year, and he could be linked with the Premier League club’s parent organization for a very long time.

A new report out of England says the City Football Group will offer the Argentine superstar a 10 year deal which would see him first play for Manchester City, and then, when he was ready, play for any of CFG’s other clubs. He could also take on an ambassadorial job after retirement.

Perhaps most intriguingly, that could set up a move to New York City FC, a team CFG owns in majority.
