The former El Tri striker says the current team has an ugly style of play and isn't impressed with coach Juan Carlos Osorio.
Luis Hernandez has slammed the current iteration of the Mexico national team, calling its style "ugly."
Hernandez played more than 80 matches with El Tri, winning two Gold Cups and the 1999 Confederation Cup in Mexico. While the ex-striker acknowledged it's difficult to pit historic teams against present ones, he didn't hold back in his criticism of today's Mexico side.
"For me, they play ugly, they play with a manager who doesn't show me anything — that's my opinion," Hernandez told reporters.
