Locals joke that Philippe Coutinho’s house is jinxed as the player struggles to fully adapt

ESPN reports that locals around Castelldefels joke that Philippe Coutinho’s house is cursed. The town is located near Barcelona, and the home has previously housed Cesc Fàbregas, Thomas Vermaelen, and André Gomes while they played for FC Barcelona.

Fàbregas had an uneven spell at Barça, alternating between moments of brilliance and moments of pure inconsistency. Vermaelen didn’t play in his first season with Barcelona due to injury. He eventually returned to the team after a loan spell at AS Roma. Gomes had a very difficult time adapting after his move from Valencia and is now at Everton.
