Liverpool are reportedly closing in on signing a new left-back as they have held talks with Paris St-Germain over making a deal for Frenchman Lucas Digne.
According to Simon Jones in the Daily Mail, Digne is looking to leave the French capital having only made 30 appearances in Ligue 1 since his £10.5 million move from Lille in 2013.
As noted by Bleacher Report's Ligue 1 expert Jonathan Johnson, the 22-year-old has consistently been in the shadow of Brazilian Maxwell:
