Liverpool join race to sign Arsenal’s top target

Cech has been linked with a move to Arsenal, after the 32-year-old lost his place in Jose Mourinho’s side to Thibaut Courtois.

According to The Guardian, the “Czech international may favour remaining in London with Arsenal, though there is strong interest from abroad.”

The Chelsea legend, who has played 485 times for Blues, is wanted by Liverpool, according to reports from Italy. TMW claim that Liverpool want Cech to replace Simon Mignolet in the summer, though Brendan Rodgers is highly unlikely to opt for that move.

Mignolet returned strongly in the second half of the season and kept 14 clean sheets, more than any other goal keeper in the Premier League this term.
