Lionel Messi made yet more Champions League history on Wednesday after opening the scoring for Barcelona in their 2-1 win over Slavia Prague.
The Barcelona captain netted the opener from an Arthur pass inside three minutes to break the deadlock and become the first player to score in 15 consecutive seasons in the Champions League.

Messi’s goal against Slavia was his first away from home in Europe since Barcelona’s win over PSV Eindhoven in the group stages last November.
