Liga MX Femenil recap - 2018 Apertura Week 6

The Clásico Capitalino’s defensive matchup was balanced by two lopsided wins in another week of Liga MX Femenil play.

Cruz Azul 0, Puebla 0: Cruz Azul conceded a staggering twelve corner kicks in the Week 5 opener against Puebla, but it only resulted in two shots on goal and no actual goals. Cruz Azul is still winless in five.

Necaxa 1, Tigres 3: Alison González scored her league-leading sixth goal in the 21st minute as Tigres downed a shorthanded Necaxa 3-1 in Aguascalientes. Andrea Villalobos got Necaxa’s lone goal in the 33rd, but Nancy Antonio and Evelyn González would score to give Tigres their fourth win of the season.
