Well that escalated quickly. Bayern, or rather half-time substitute Robert Lewandowski, turned around a 1-0 half-time deficit to run down Wolfsburg 5-1 in Munich.
Bayern were woeful before the interval and deservedly trailed to Daniel Caliguri's 26th minute strike. But Lewandowski's magical five-goal blitz in a mere nine second half minutes swung the game dramatically, and rapidly, in the Bavarians' favour. For the record, it was the quickest hat-trick in Bundesliga history, the fastest four-for and the swiftest five-timer as well. You get the idea: Lewandowski literally danced with the Wolves.
