Lazio president Lotito banned for seven months over coronavirus violations

Lazio have been fined €150,000, two team doctors have been banned for 12 months, and club president Claudio Lotito has been banned for seven months for violations of Covid-19 protocols.

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) referred the case to a federal court last month, and the court subsequently announced their punishment on Friday.

Lazio confirmed in a statement that they will appeal the ruling.
