Lazio leave door open for David Silva as they offer Manchester City star a ‘different experience’

Lazio director Igli Tare remains coy on the club’s reported interest in David Silva, but left the door open for the Spaniard to take on a “different experience” in Italy once he severs ties with Manchester City.

The World Cup-winning midfielder is approaching the end of his contract at the Etihad Stadium. Silva will be leaving City once their participation in the 2019-20 Champions League comes to a close, with the 34-year-old becoming a free agent.

Various landing spots have been mooted for the modern day great, from MLS to La Liga.
