Lamine Yamal was one of the many young players who were given a chance to play extended minutes as Barcelona travelled to Dallas for their final game of 2023 in a friendly against Club América. Barça lost the game 3-2, but the real headline were the impressive performances by a few of the youngsters, most notably Yamal.
The 16-year-old looked like himself again after a few tough outings lately and scored a sensational goal early in the first half. He looked confident running at and through defenders and was defiant in trying to win his duels, while also looking to combine with his teammates and help provide service for the other forwards.
