Barcelona coach Rnoald Koeman admitted Sunday’s victory over Levante at the Camp Nou was important for his team after a disappointing start to the season.
Lionel Messi’s second-half goal proved to be the difference between the two sides as the Catalan giants were made to work hard for all three points.
Koeman seemed pretty happy after the match and feels the victory will give his team confidence ahead of the visit from Real Sociedad on Wednesday.
“It was a really important win. We know our situation in the league, we knew that after we lost to Cadiz we had to win.
