Klinsmann relieved after win over Honduras in Gold Cup

The U.S. coach was a relieved man after seeing his United States side scrape a 2-1 win over Honduras in their CONCACAF Gold Cup opener.

The United States is a work in progress and should not be expected to be in top form just yet, coach Jurgen Klinsmann said after their nervy opening-game victory over Honduras at the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

"It was not easy at all tonight, t was a very tight game," Klinsmann said after the U.S. defeated the Central American nation 2-1, thanks to a pair of goals from Clint Dempsey in Frisco, Texas.
