The Germany Under-21 star was sorry to see his "idol" move to Manchester United, and does not think Arturo Vidal's arrival will hurt his chances.
Bayern Munich youngster Joshua Kimmich has admitted that Bastian Schweinsteiger's decision to leave the club for Manchester United came as a bit of a blow to him as he was keen to learn from the experienced midfielder.
Kimmich joined the Bundesliga champion from Stuttgart after impressing with RB Leipzig and was keen to team up with the Germany international at the Allianz Arena.
However, Schweinsteiger eventually opted to move on and join United instead, much to the disappointment of Kimmich.
