VANCOUVER – Another important piece of the Vancouver Whitecaps squad committed his future to the club Thursday, as center back Kendall Waston signed a multi-year contract extension with the Blue and White.
Voted the club’s Player of the Year by Whitecaps supporters, Waston follows captain Pedro Morales and Matias Laba in signing a new deal with the Whitecaps, as coach Carl Robinson puts his offseason plans in motion after a productive 2015 campaign.
"Kendall is an important building block in what we're trying to accomplish at this club," Robinson said in a club statement.
