KC NWSL remains winless on road

Kansas City NWSL went on the road for the last time in their inaugural season to face the Chicago Red Stars, looking for their first road win. Kansas City had their chances and played well for the most part but they came up on the short end of a 2-1 score line.

Chicago came out dominating the match, creating the better chances, including hitting the woodwork twice. Despite Chicago’s chances, the first goal came courtesy of Kansas City.

The Red Stars Mallory Pugh sent a corner into the box where Tierna Davidson headed the ball towards goal.
