This past weekend, Sporting Kansas City ended their four game winless run, topping Minnesota United 1-0 at Children’s Mercy Park on Sunday night. The win moved Sporting to the top of the Western Conference. Earlier this past week, Sporting KC II suffered a blow to their small chances of making the USL playoffs with a 2-1 loss to Indy Eleven on their almost never ending road trip.
