It’s been reported that Lionel Messi has already agreed to a substantial wage reduction, and it seems Gerard Piqué will also agree. The situation is less clear with Sergio Busquets, Sergi Roberto, and Jordi Alba.
However, some reports have said Alba is the least willing to agree to such a reduction. For that reason, he has been linked with a move away from the Camp Nou. Rumors have placed Valencia’s José Luis Gayà as a possible replacement, although no serious negotiations have taken place.
