Johor Darul Ta'zim

JDT are the clear favourites against Boeung Ket and a big win could ignite their faltering start to the 2017 season

Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) temporarily turn their attention away from domestic woes as they line-up against Cambodia's Boeung Ket in the opening fixture of the 2017 AFC Cup Group F. Following their first domestic league in 26 matches, the fixture calendar couldn't have been kinder.

In their last two AFC Cup campaigns, JDT have opened up with big wins over inferior opponents and history could yet repeat itself on Tuesday night at the Tan Sri Hj Hassan Yunos Stadium.
