Former Barcelona defender Joan Cancelo shared his love for the club after helping Al-Hilal to a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid at the Club World Cup in their opening match of the tournament in the United States.
Cancelo was booed by some sections of the Madrid support during the game, due to his connection with their rivals, but shrugged off the jeers afterwards and told everyone how much he loved Barcelona instead.
“I’m a Barca fan, it’s normal. I love Barca. I loved my team in Barca. I love the group at Barca. But now I’m at Al-Hilal and I’m very happy here,” he told reporters.
