Barcelona president Joan Laporta jetted out to Munich for the Nations League final at the weekend and also took the chance to meet up with UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin.
According to Marca, Laporta is eager to ensure any possible sanction Barcelona faces for financial irregularities is “as minimal as possible.”
The Catalan giants are at risk of being sanctioned by UEFA after breaching financial rules for the second year in a row.
Potential punishments are said to include a reduced squad size for the Champions League or even a possible points deduction, although that does seem unlikely.
