Having not missed a Socceroos match since the start of 2016, Robbie Kruse is "proud" to have reached 50 caps and is looking forward to a big 12 months with the national team.
Kruse notched his 50th appearance for Australia in March's 2-0 win over United Arab Emirates in Sydney and will be looking for a 13th straight game when the Socceroos host Saudi Arabia in World Cup qualifying on Thursday.
It is a far cry from the winger's unfortunate run with injuries earlier in his career.
