‘Italy don’t need Balotelli, we have Immobile’ - Parolo

Italy veteran Marco Parolo has dismissed growing calls for Mario Balotelli to be recalled despite the Azzurri firing blanks again versus Argentina.

The Italians, who failed to qualify for this summer’s World Cup in Russia, lost 2-0 to Argentina in Manchester on Friday following second half goals by Ever Banega and Manuel Lanzini.

It was Italy’s third consecutive game without scoring but Parolo says there is no need to recall Balotelli despite his outstanding form for Nice this season.

“We have important players already now and we have Immobile who is fighting for the European Golden Shoe,” Parolo told Goal.
