Former Socceroo defender Sasa Ognenovski has refuted opinion by Mark Bosnich that Wellington Phoenix coach Mark Rudan should be sacked if the team loses their last two A-League season matches.
Bosnich used the A-League Hour and Bill and Boz platforms earlier this week to state the New Zealand club should consider cutting ties with Rudan if Phoenix's poor performances continued - having won only four of their last 12 matches.
Rudan announced his departure from Wellington on Monday, with the reasoning because the time away from his Australian-based family was becoming too much.
