Inter move 'a bit of a shock' - Sainsbury

The Australian defender hadn't expected to return to Europe so soon after joining Jiangsu Suning but wants to capitalise on his Serie A chance

New Inter defender Trent Sainsbury has admitted his loan move from Jiangsu Suning on transfer deadline day came as a shock but he insists he will "go all out to play" for the Serie A club.

Inter and Jiangsu, who are owned by the same Chinese company, rushed through an agreement on Tuesday to send Sainsbury from China to Italy after Andrea Ranocchia had left the San Siro to join Hull City for the rest of the season.
