Indonesia interested in leading South East Asia's World Cup 2034 bid

The Indonesian FA wants to lead South East Asia's World Cup 2034 bid, which will be discussed with the Asean Football Federation (AFF) in September.

The Indonesian FA (PSSI) is interested in leading South East Asian nations' bid to host the 2034 World Cup, its acting secretary-general Joko Driyono confirmed on Monday.

Speaking to the press on Monday, Joko said that the proposal will be discussed with the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) in September.

"Indonesia will host the AFF Council Meeting as well as the AFF Awarding Night on 23 September 2017 in Nusa Dua Bali.
