Barcelona midfielder Gavi says he wants to get “better and better” after scoring his first goal since returning from injury for the Catalans after almost a year out.
Gavi scored and grabbed an assist in the 2-0 victory over Athletic Club that has sent Barca into the final of the Spanish Super Cup.
Here’s what he made of it afterwards:
“I’m happy and very pleased with the team’s victory, in the end that’s what’s important,” he told reporters.
“I was lucky enough to score the goal and give the assist, but in the end what matters is that we’re in the final and we have to win it.
