Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen appears to be heading towards the exit door following the arrival of Joan Garcia this summer.
Hansi Flick has reportedly already told Ter Stegen he won’t be first choice next season and will have to fight for a spot if he does stay.
The situation has since been clouded by Ter Stegen’s decision to undergo surgery, with the relationship between club and player appearing to be at an all-time low.
Despite all of this, Flick is hoping for a “good exit” for Ter Stegen and does not want to enter into any disputes with his stopper, according to Diario Sport.
