Barcelona manager Hansi Flick gave a small hint of the thinking process regarding his defensive lineup ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Inter Milan at San Siro.
The coach will be without his two starting full-backs as Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde have both been ruled out due to hamstring injuries, leaving the manager with several different backup options to try and solve the problem as the team gets ready to face a very good attacking team in Inter both from open play and especially in set pieces.
Flick has been tipped to start four center-backs on Tuesday with Eric García and Iñigo Martínez starting in the full-back spots, but the more natural full-backs still available are Héctor Fort and Gerard Martín.
